I got a really cool T-Shirt Today! Tony "Zombie Artist God" Moore has them over at his site TonyMoore.com head over and buy one before the undead hordes take them all! GAK!
I just gotta know: did the sister become a meal, too? The way I read it in "Shower of the Dead" was that Courtney surprised her sister in the shower, and the thuds in the first comic of "A Grave Breakfast" insinuated the sister stomping to her bedroom. Am I reading this right? If so, then what about that extra bang in the third panel? I'm so confused! I may need a Tony Moore t-shirt to get me outta my funk. Speaking of which, did you read the latest "The Walking Dead" yet? I can't wait to see where they're going...
You are right. Courtney's sister Britney is very much alive. The last slam you hear in the 3rd panel is her bedroom door. She'll be seen in the upcoming episode "Cadaver Onboard". Yes, I have read the latest "Walking Dead". I LOVE that book! Kirkman is GOD! Rick losing is hand was really freaky.
Why is Kirkman's writing awkward? I actually find that he's handling the genre quite well. I would just like an explanation as to why the world's (presumably) overwrought with zombies and in such a short time with barely a trace of a retaliation. But who am I to say? As far as I can remember I've never been in a situation even closely resembling The Walking Dead.
Oh, and Jason? That fifth panel today?....Bwah hah hah hah ha!
I don't think Kirkman plans on explaining to us how the zombie epidemic started. I really love the fact that we're kept in the dark about it. Makes me feel like I'm Rick.
You liked the 5th panel? Ha ha, glad you saw Britney's last line. Wait till you see the future episode "Tragedy at Makeout Point" GAK!bsenp
Jason! Liked the second installment showing the mom in "relaxation" mode. My only pet peeve is that there were no actual Courtney appearances in this issue. I'm sure that will be rectified by Friday.
I'm actually writing for another reason, and if it seems I'm stalking you I promise to stay 50 yards away as the restraining order states. I just wanted to know if you were aware of Xombie. If not, may I suggest you make yourself aware of it? I've been following this story for years now, and James Farr and his merry band of miscreants are trying to release a feature length movie (which I believe has been downgraded to DVD, but that would still be an awesome achievement to come of his toil).
Check it out if you haven't already. Spread the word, if you like it. No, I'm not associated in any way. Just a zombie fan who likes a creative premise.
Y'know, I may be pathetic for having posted to the same blog entry four times (including this one), but color me wanting more news! What's shakin' in the life of Gak News? I want, nay, demand news of any upcoming MLDG events, movies, or world premiere bikini model parties. I hope the latter will be populated by nonliving dead girls (ie living girls), though.
Just wanted to let you know that I've linked you on my blog. Don't know if it'll attract the kind of attention you want, but I seem to be getting some more traffic lately, and I thought I'd share. Mom always taught me to share, so I'm sharing. So, there!
Your NOT pathetic man! Your a fan of the strip! An A+ GAK-E-TEER! You show support and I thank you. I put your blog link on the GAK NEWS blog links as well. Sharing is fun.

Until next time: "More brains!"

Being a zombie expert that you are. Would you not find Kirkman's writing a little, well - awkward?
Your stuff is much better may I offer.

Jason,
I've been enjoying your site from time to time, so I decided to finally leave a comment.
Keep the strips coming, and thanks for turning me on to The Walking Dead. I still read it and hope they turn it into a movie someday..and ruin it. :)
Long live the GAK. Hope to run into you sometime soon.
